Richard, with a Greek god physique, rose quickly in Olympic weightlifting, making nationals in his 20s. Even in his late 30s, he still ranks top five in the country. A former hockey player, he’s naturally strong with a sharp eye for detail, delivering results and standout coaching.

Coach Rachael

Head Coach / CrossFit Level 2

Coach Rachael grew up playing competitive basketball for over a decade. She played for Queen’s University while completing her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature. She found Crossfit during the offseason in 2012, and began coaching CF Kids & Teens in 2014. Coach Rachael holds her CF-L2 amongst other certifications.

CrossFit Level 2

Coach Gabe grew up playing soccer and found Crossfit at 16. He’s been working and coaching in the industry for over 10 years. He loved the variety day to day as an athlete but also as a coach because no two classes are ever the same. Gabe has his CF-L2 among other certifications.

Coach Domhnall

CrossFit Level 2

Coach Domhnall started as a competitive swimmer from the age of 10 and competed in soccer until he was 17. After finding powerlifting and hypertrophy training at 18 he turned fully Crossfit in 2020-2021. He also began coaching in 2021. Domhnall has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Climate Change. He also has a variety of fitness certifications including CF-L1.

Coach Taf grew up competing in a variety of sports including wrestling, football and tennis. He found Crossfit in 2014 and began training and coaching in the sport. He has a variety of certifications including his CF-L2 designation. He also holds his MBA and is a key member of many community and fitness events/collectives around Vancouver.

CrossFit Level 1

Coach Max has been training at a competitive level for 16 years. He has been a multi-sport athlete most of his life, but grew up playing baseball at the collegiate and international level. He started Crossfit in 2017 and began coaching in 2018 with his CF-L1. Outside of the fitness world, Max completed his undergrad at UBC in Computer Engineering.

Coach Julie grew up competing in swimming and netball for 10 years, alongside training for long-distance running events. She started Crossfit in 2021. Julie completed college in Bay of Islands, New Zealand and just recently finished her bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Sport Science and Nutrition in Vancouver. In New Zealand, she worked as a Personal Trainer and coached indoor cycling, aqua aerobics, team sports, and group fitness classes.

Sherine, born and raised in Switzerland to a family of Dutch/Palestinian origin brings a world of experience to her practice. Her dedication to well-being has led her to acquire certifications in personal training, fascial stretch therapy, functional range release/conditioning & assessment, and Stuart McGill’s methods for pain-free back care. She is also a certified Yoga and Kinstretch instructor. Sherine believes in lifelong learning and is passionate about helping people improve their mental and physical health.
